I do not have a 3D printer - how can I print my file?

STL files you purchase can be used for print at home projects on any 3D printer. You can also upload your files to the following 3D print services: Shapeways.com, Sculpteo.com, i.materialise.com, craftcloud3d.com and hubs.com. You will be asked to upload STL file you purchased from this site and pick a material and color.

For materials, we recommend PLA, ABS, PETG, PA12 or Standard Resin - the cost will vary so choose according to your budget. Printing and shipping of your 3D print can take anywhere from 5 days to 3 weeks. Please email us with any questions.

Can I submit my 3D files to sell?

Yes, we are inviting other product designers and makers from around the world to add their works to the collection. If you would like more information or have a compelling design to share please get in touch with us.

What file formats are available for download?

Currently STL is the only file format available for download. We are working to add additional file formats in the near future. If you require an alternative file format, purchase a download then contact us with your request and we will be happy to send your file format out right away.

Can I purchase physical prints from your website?

Currently we only offer digital file downloads of our products. We are working on the option to also purchase physical prints. This will most likely be executed via a fulfillment partner - stay tuned!

Can I resell Artefacture 3D print files?

Artefacture 3D print files or physical prints cannot be resold after purchase. Once you purchase and download a 3D print file you are bound by the Terms of Use presented at time of purchase. The reselling of Artefacture 3D print files or prints is prohibited and constitutes copyright infringement which can result in legal action.

What software is used to create your 3D print files?

Artefacture's products are designed in Rhino 3D. Once finalized the 3D geometry is imported into Keyshot for final image rendering. Webflow, Figma, Spline Design, Final Cut Pro and Affinity Designer are used for website and content production.

Can I customize my order, use a company logo?

We can accommodate custom design requests entailing the placement of a company logo on our products. Please get in touch with us for more information.

Do you provide dimension information of your products?

We provide dimension information for all our products. Each product detail page has a "PDF" icon which links to a PDF data sheet. The data sheet opens in a separate browser tab - you are welcome to download and print if needed.

How often do you release new products?

Once we get our final pieces in place the plan is to release 2 new products each month. This keeps the collection interesting and growing. Sign up to our newsletter to stay on top of news and product releases. We welcome feedback or suggestions for product ideas.

Do you provide source files of your designs?

We appreciate the concept of open source and freely sharing creative work for others to build upon. However, we consider our designs to be copyrighted, finished works of individual expression owned by the designer, hence we do not provide any source files.
